I was able to snag a 65" 4 series from Target about a year ago for $230ish. It is the android version but i just plugged a roku in to deal with OS performance. Solid tv for what i paid. Dont expect sony/lg or anything.

Ordered 2 of these yesterday, not sure why the thumbs down from people. Much lower than anywhere else for the same tv.

Odd, we manage vacation rentals and have over 30 TCL Roku TV's in them as they are simple, remotes are cheap and plentiful, and THEY WORK WELL. Can't say that for any other TV in units we manage.

I must have a bad one. Some days the response is snappy while many days it's sluggish (>10 sec to get back to the home screen, mute/unmute, etc.). Thankfully it was cheap (32" for $60). I might put a spare FireTV stick on it

Did you do a "system reset" on it?

Settings>Advanced System Settings>Factory Reset>

Try the partial reset first and if that doesn't help, do a factory reset, then do a software update using Settings>System>Update

Similar to jared52, I have 7 TCL TV's (4 at my house and purchased 3 for parents) of all generations and series 4 through 6, oldest being from 2015, and all have flawless! My wife's daily driver is the 2015 4 series and I've had zero complaints. Very high WAF (Wifie Approval Factor). Anyone with wifies will attest... happy wife - happy life.
Love my TCL tv's!
