If you let your dog drink tap, you should drink tap. But if you want your dog to live longer, don't let them drink tap water. So many chemicals these days.
my dogs in CR like, boy you talking crazy *psurlhasbeenblockedschlo*
ITs actually very true. Water in pure form is distilled, and the tap is recycled with bacteria and then chlorinated heavly and then fluoridated...But this gadget, I LOVE...just have it on a line thats got an RO if you want a healthy drinking water.
I'm with you guys. It's impossible to avoid these chemicals now-a-days. And I haven't thought about going the dehydrated route before, but once you rehydrate it, aren't you stuck in the same situation? I don't know what to do?
We got a water filter for the whole house when we got our water softener.
Even the toilet water is filtered now.
So then do I have this correct ? The faucet has to be turned ON for the animal to activate the water coming out ? The water company is going to charge me for all that water running, correct ? As for the person who suggested it would be great for leaving the dog while on vacation, I'd be reporting that neighbor to the authorities for animal neglect.
The water faucet remains open but only runs when the dog licks it, genius Karen.
I get how this could be useful for vacations or something, but I don't think I would rely on it. What if it malfunctions and the dog dies? If anyone is buying so they don't have to bother taking care of the dog, you probably shouldn't have a dog. (I don't have a dog because I do not want to take care of one, and I don't want to make a dog suffer a boring life locked up in the back yard because I can't be realistic with myself.)
My dogs have a FILTERED water fountain inside and I still bought this. This product is not so someone can neglect their dogs lol. When my dogs go outside in the backyard they like to play very hard, but they don't necessarily want to come in when I want them to come drink some water. If I am out there I turn my hose spigot on and one dog will drink from it as it flows but the other wont. This product will be used for them to continue playing hard without dehydrating or overheating. But go on and keep telling us how this is for neglect lmao.

But then you are still using water that is "recycled".
But then you are still using water that is "recycled".
RO is reverse osmosis, and it filters the "recycled" tap water out of almost everything and gives a Total Dissolved Solids of a 01 to 04 at times. The city recycling is not recycling as much as they "treat" the water with more chemicals.
But, is you want 100% clean water, use a distiller.

can't just put out a blank statement out like that
Same could be said about making a blanket statement criticizing people for giving tap water to their pets.
Travolta's wig... Is he wearing one? 😂

Here, I do not recommend it but you can watch this video of a human with rabies trying to drink water.
