is there enough seasoning so that you can add some plain tuna to make it more.

Judging by the Hickory Smoked version, no.

MSG isn't any worse for you than most other common seasoning. Of course too much is bad for you just like having too much salt or sugar in your diet is bad for you.

However the fear of MSG being some kind of poison is more driven by racism than actual data. The idea was largely started because Asian restaurants tend to use MSG in their cooking combined with some racist people who stereotype Asians and their cooking being unclean and dirty.

People in China, Japan, Korea, and many other Asian countries on average consume almost 2x-3x more MSG a year than Americans. Do you see them suffering from massive health problems as a result? In fact Hong Kong and Japan are the top 2 countries with the longest life expectancies.

I got some of these for free.

They are salty as hell.

They are seasoned well, but honestly ... You could make this yourself

presumably the same way you would "make" any of the other individual ingredients, by purchasing it.

It is accurate to say that the MSG fearmongering was started because of racism- of course, no one is saying they don't like MSG today because they are racist (that would be silly on multiple levels). Feel free to Google "Chinese Restaurant Syndrome" if you're interested in why/how the myth that MSG is dangerous was started.
