I actually personally find it less of a pain. Yea there are steps involved but filament is so finicky. With resin I dump it in. With filament I have all this garbage to think about to make sure bed adhesion is good, leveling is correct, vlahblahblah

Read this before buying. SLA sounds like a huge pain compared to filament printing.

It's a liquid resin printer not a filament printer. The prints come out 30 to 60% better but it has a much smaller build plate.

Two different types of additive manufacturing. This uses a vat of liquid resin vs a filament fed melt extruder.

But for $100, it'll give you some variety...

I print with filament but want to learn SLA instead. It seems a lot harder to get started. Does anyone have a good resource to learn?

True, but filament doesn't dump noxious chemicals all over, require curing and washing, and doesn't stink up the house.

Again - not biased or crapping. Just looks messy. Maybe pain level is equal, but certainly SLA is more messy.

Honestly waste of time as they will probably not have much in stock. Tried couple times to get the Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D in the deal below, but was always out of stock. Guess just depends on your area and need some luck. They pretty much just want your info of course.

I mean the whole "new customer" thing is defined by an email or a phone number .... Get creative

Looks like the 2k mono model (comparable to elegoo Mars 2). Heard less favorable things about crealitys version, but at 99 this would be a screaming deal!

This, a $30 bottle of uv resin, and a few big bottles of 91+ isopropyl alcohol (~$2 wally) in some kinda container for washing.. and you're printing. Can cure in the sun. Small money will get you a curing station.. $100 or so for a wash and cure, budget allowing.

Printing is super easy and satisfying. Tons of support groups and guides.
