Tried to price match with Walmart chat. Escalated to a manager. Even though walmart.com has it in stock and it says "Sold and shipped by Walmart.com" (after clicking on Compare all sellers), both reps gave some rigamarole about how that inventory was actually being held in reserve for a third-party seller and so doesn't belong to them so they cannot price match.

Popping noises and range issues are normally caused by static build up. Make sure everything you have connected is on a single circuit (ie. one power strip). If you have the TV plugged into one outlet and other devices like consoles, video players, your sound bar, etc. connected to a separate outlet, it'll make those crackly noises. You can check by unplugging the sound bar power, waiting a bit, and plugging it back in.

If that solves your problem even temporarily, then you've found the cause that's good. Otherwise you may just have a defective unit. My non-LG soundbar did the same thing until I read about the static thing 🤷

I will be receiving this soundbar today...I tried to cancel 2 days before it shipped, and Amazon told me it was too late. They already offered promotional credit of $50, then when I said "if I keep it instead of returning, will you give me a discount?" and they said yes...so, having said that...I will have this availble for sale $650 local to Evansville, Indiana or I will ship (they hinted I could get another $100 discounted, is why I'm not going to refuse delivery). I got a discount for keeping the soundbar, as opposed to returning. Selling for 600, unopened…Evansville, Indiana area. That's 94 less than what we paid.

My bad, I just took that the wrong way. I'm not in a huge hurry to sell it , it just takes a lot of room up!! I wouldn't plan on doing this, I really did try to cancel. So I think morale compass can get caught up in all of this. "What else can I get a discount on??" But in this case I did try to cancel, and I just asked. Hell, the 50 dollar credit in the beginning they just gave to me because they weren't able to cancel. So I don't feel bad about getting it for 500 , but if my intentions all along were to do this, I think that's a lot more slippery.

I also got scammed last week, on a q950t deal that I drove 2 hours for. I stupidly venmo'd 200 deposit and the guys truck broke down, but he also blocked me. Well, the idiot let me see all his pictures of his truck (just from social media) so I called his local detective and gave license plate number, and where his wife admitted the next day they had taken the money and would pay me back sometime. Lol. So the detective made contact, ordered him to pay it back. Well their venmo was messed up, so he let them pay him and he personally venmo'd the money back. How cool is that? Plus I learned my lesson.
So in the internet of good karma, I continue to lower the price quickly. This is about as far as I'm going to go for now, though. Lol

Alright, this didn't go how I had planned 😂😂. 520 local pickup or I will ship. I've had several offers to ship , and have tried to email people back but I think I missed some. I know California is 140!! Ups. Anything east of me has been 80-100. So I'm going to say roughly 620 to ship to you, total. Sealed in box. I can provide drivers license if needed and emails showing where I basically paid 500 for this. It's killing me to have this sitting around. I want to try it out. Lol.

The obvious questions 1) why not return to Amazon? - can't, I agreed to waive return for discount 2) why not keep it? - the Vizio 5.1.4 I got for 300 kicks butt (I bought after LG and thought I could cancel LG) 3) why not eBay ship? - trying this first, can control who I send it to, plus I know some members that have been around awhile.

Because I tried to cancel for 2 days before it shipped and they couldn't do it. I wasn't mad, I knew it was the risk I took. But the last time I chatted with it them, they said "please accept this 50 dollar promotional credit for the trouble", that was after they told me it had shipped. Then they said "and just refuse delivery or return when it arrives to you"…so when it came, I said "how about 20% discount for me to keep and waive return rights" and they said "how about 10%?" But when I said "ok I might just return" they did the 20%. And the 20% was based off the 649 not off the price after the promotional credit. I just ended up selling on eBay, spent 130 on shipping to ship 5 hours away! And will make about 50 bucks! Ha. Should have just refused delivery.
I could see how someone could really manipulate Amazon here, but I have no issue with anything I received or asked for, because I was just like truthful with my motives and what I told them. I never expressed aggravation toward them for not being able to cancel. But I kept trying anyway, until it was shipped. If one had a slippery morale compass I guess you could play this game with Amazon on any large purchase you made. Even if I had no intention of sending back, I wouldn't want to accept the risk of karma in this situation. But it's good to know that they do work with people. Having said that, my friend is mad because everytime he chats with customer service they bend him of the rails for things truly out of his control. Lol. Like I told him, a lot of times it depends on who you get.

Now, what about ear buds? I missed this
