Set up PayPal so you can pay with QR codes. Link your Chase freedom flex as the payment method.

CVS is one of the few places that take PayPal QR codes as payment. It's been recommended to use self checkout, if possible. Once you add the gift card, DO NOT click any payment method on the self checkout terminal. Instead, scan your PayPal QR code like you are buying something. Then it will allow you to checkout and pay with PayPal.

If it does indeed stack with the 2% back at drug stores as the other thread suggests, that's 11% back on up to $1500.
I don't think you read the whole post...
It is only for Freedom Flex.

I don't think PayPal or Walmart are spend categories for the "Eligible Rewards Categories." Are they? edit I got my email... "If you use PayPal, a Q4 bonus category, as a payment method for purchases in your top spend category, you will earn a total of 9%.

wow, a little confusing for old folk. what is the best use of this. How to use PayPal to buy gift cards in those categories?
Buy $500 VISA gift cards at CVS using Paypal app = 9%

If you live near Giant Eagle supermarkets, they accept Paypal.

Lowe's and Home Depot only accept Paypal on their website, not in their stores.

I don't understand the OP's post. I have had Q4 activated with my Chase Freedom Card since the beginning of this month to use on Paypal and Walmart.

Is what this OP stating a stackable 5% on top of the existing 5% quarterly bonus going on right now?

From the email,
If you use PayPal, a Q4 bonus category, as a payment method for purchases in your top spend category, you will earn a total of 9%
which leads me to think that they are capping at 9% not 11%.
In essence, they are making drugstores additional 4% instead of the standard 2%.
If it turns out to be 11%, I will be very happy.
Thanks for the reminder that the next $500 after the $1000 at CVS is still 7% which is nice as well.
That $500 VISA card purchased at Walmart cost me extra $20. :-(
Does that mean I should just buy gift cards at CVS for Amazon?

What are all the fees on VISA gift cards? Monthly? Activation? etc.

1. Yes. They sell Target and Amazon gift cards. No Walmart.

2. The fees are $5.95 for the VISA gift cards though I have seen some that are $6.95.
No monthly fees.
I use them as straight spend. There may be better tricks on how to manufacture spend with them.

I always wana check out these different sites that aren't part of the original domain. chasebonus.com. Did whois check on it and chase.com. Both are with markmonitor; a domain security company that specializes in legit business domains... So that was nice to know.

I have a chase freedom, didn't work for me. I see the comment above mentioned flex version of the card. oh well, would'a been nice.

If the Amazon cards are without fee, and in various denominations it seems like the best value?? Can anyone verify that cvs Amazon are fee free? Wish I had used my freedom instead of flex on previous Walmart and PayPal purchases this quarter.

Looks like the easiest to take advantage of this deal is to order amazon gift cards online for pickup and use paypal as the payment method.

Chase really screwed up. Trying to compete with Citi Custom Cash but they're confusing their cardholders.

Sorry. Walgreens seems to be one of the few retailers in the category list that sells amazon gift cards online.

Yes it's stackable. For Chase freedom FLEX, not for regular Chase freedom.

I have Chase Freedom FLEX, but I did NOT get "an email" with this offer.

Does that mean I won't get the additional 4% cashback? Is this by email invite ONLY? Thanks.
