Set up PayPal so you can pay with QR codes. Link your Chase freedom flex as the payment method.

CVS is one of the few places that take PayPal QR codes as payment. It's been recommended to use self checkout, if possible. Once you add the gift card, DO NOT click any payment method on the self checkout terminal. Instead, scan your PayPal QR code like you are buying something. Then it will allow you to checkout and pay with PayPal.

If it does indeed stack with the 2% back at drug stores as the other thread suggests, that's 11% back on up to $1500.

Yes.
I got 9% in Q3 with my Flex because Q3 was grocery stores and I was still in my first year with the Flex.

I got my flex card new days ago and activated the 5% cash back from PayPal. I then bought a jacket for 1100 so would this qualify for the additional 4% cash back or did I have to click the op link to qualify for it? Thanks.

You won't get the additional 4% unless you bought the jacket at a store in one of the top spend categories.

I dont understand why does it have to be instore? I thought as long as you use paypal it qualifies? No?

It is suppose to be automatic if you had activated for Q4.

It is retroactive to Oct 1.
If your $1500 spend was Walmart, no 9%.
If your $1500 spend was with Paypal, it depends on which merchant you used the Paypal. If it was eBay, no 9%.
