CVS is one of the few places that take PayPal QR codes as payment. It's been recommended to use self checkout, if possible. Once you add the gift card, DO NOT click any payment method on the self checkout terminal. Instead, scan your PayPal QR code like you are buying something. Then it will allow you to checkout and pay with PayPal.
If it does indeed stack with the 2% back at drug stores as the other thread suggests, that's 11% back on up to $1500.

I checked on the ultimate rewards and then go to rewards activity. For all the transactions at PayPal CVS; 7 percent.
