My order is probably going to get cancelled but let's see. I'll post updates if anything materializes
Bro, that is lucky. Mine still at price of 1530, sad. Walmart said if I could have a 1399's shipping order num then they may give me a price match

3rd order shipped. All of my orders were refunded after shipping to reflect the $1399 price and capital one has confirmed 8% cash back for all 3. Really nice machines - much better than the non-pro versions. I did do a windows 10 fresh install (non into 11 yet...) and had to manually download the wifi driver on another machine to get the wifi working on the fresh install.
I hope mine will be adjusted to 1399 too. But now it just stuck at placed, sad

I ended up canceling my online order and picked it up in store about an hour away. One quick thing to note: You can add accidental damage coverage on top of your 1 year warranty for about $18. Totally worth it. You can do it right through the support tool in Lenovo Advantage or whatever it's called that's preinstalled.

Your best bet at getting one of these is in store.

Got the last one in Asheville, NC and im damn glad I got it. Ended up getting Samsung VRAM on the 3070 so it hashes at 67 MH/s at +1800 on the memory. Good for about $5 a day, plan on mining the next 5-6 months at least. The extended warranty option for 2 years + accidental damage is only like $70 or something so its a no brainer.

The 3070 with that memory OC (plus core clock offset of +150) scored just a hair below a desktop 3060 Ti in firestike and Timespy. Kind of insane. Scored better than the 200 watt RTX 2080 in my old Asus ROG laptop that required 2 AC adapters! I even got 5% off using my Chase Freedom card. To put this in perspective, the median Timespy score for RTX 3080 mobile chips is 11129 , I got 11300 with that insane memory OC. So its performing about as well as most mobile 3080 chips. the 140 watt 3070 is an incredible performer with Samsung VRAM.

Probably the best price to performance laptop ive ever bought. The GPU and CPU scored better than a $4000 laptop from August 2019. (200 watt i9-9980HK + 200 watt RTX 2080)

Kind of crazy but this thing actually has the balls to push 2560x1600 native res at ultra settings. For $1400 you would not expect a desktop replacement type laptop but you absolutely could replace a desktop with this thing and run everything on high/ultra with RTX on at 1440p. Going to upgrade the RAM and see where that puts my Firestike and Timespy scores, they are already pretty great.

Really thats a big bum on that. I would assume costing this much it would have the finger sensor comes convenient to lazy to input my password. Thanks for the heads up was searching for a solution alteast now I know.
You should be able to use Windows Hello to login using the webcam for facial recognition.

UPDATE: Others have stated that the built in webcam will NOT work for Windows Hello. Bummer.

If you're having wifi issues, trying forcing it to 2.4ghz, that solved my random issues with this laptop. Anytime it selects 5ghz it randomly bottlenecks

(shoot this is a reply to the This would be great to know, but is there any risk on the posters part? I honestly cant see any because how could someone do something malicious without knowing more information, if they wanted to.

I agree. Your best bet is finding one instore. I found one about an hour away from me in a hillbilly country Walmart. It was last one. Lucked Out. Got a three year warranty for $88. No brainer. Covers accidental and everything except lost or stolen.

On the ram part, mine is really weird. I have numbers mixed between the supposed bad ram, and supposed good ram. haven't opened it up yet to confirm which ram it is, but it is weird. I will attach my ram findings test. This comes with the 80 watt battery so I believe bigger battery so I don't think you can use regular ssd like the 60 watt version due to battery size, and have to use m.2 ssd. I could be wrong though? Also so far, I have had zero wifi issues. I updated to windows 11 immediately and updated all windows updates and drivers immediately on opening the box and firing it up though. Maybe that helped? I dunno. Regardless, wifi is strong even in my back yard, and my wifi router is in the basement, so again, no issues so far.

I ordered on the 25 and 26th. One just went to shipping with tracking number and adjusted to 1399. I ended up getting the 3year Allstate warrant since it was only 88$ and also covers physical damage.

I tried that, but for some reason that setting is disabled I don't even mind facial recognition as well I just want to not have to type my password. I wonder if its some driver I need on that.
