For those comparing this laptop to others with faster processors, etc., keep in mind that a 5800 will run a lot faster than a throttled 5900 in a thin or poorly-cooled laptop.
The RAM in this Walmart laptop is the slow tRFC timings. You'll want to upgrade to new RAM if you want the best gaming performance.
Yes, the RAM and storage are not soldered, and so you can replace them no problem.

I purchased one today but not 100% sure I am going to keep it. Does anyone know
the return policy on computers for Walmart? The person at the electronics desk told me 15 days,
another associate told me 30 days and, according to what I found on the website it's 30 days.
Is there a restocking fee if I open the box? One associate told me that there is a retagging fee
and another one did not know.
I had a better deal in my cart directly from Lenovo (Legion 7 for slightly more $$) but procrastinated and when I returned home
and decided to check out I got the message that the item was out of stock and to remove it from the cart. Did the same with a Legion
5 Pro via Lenovo...better deal, just a little bit more money with a 1TB drive and would have gotten cash back as well as Lenovo reward $$.
Can't duplicate any of those deals now. Also wondering if I should just wait for the Alder Lake laptops to be released. I'm assuming some
products will be announced next week during CES.
As per Walmart website:
"Must be returned within 30 days with a receipt to obtain a refund or exchange:
Most electronics, including but not limited to: Verizon postpaid (contract) cellular phones, drones, camcorders, digital cameras, digital music players, e-readers, tablets, laptops, PCs, televisions, portable video players, video game hardware, GPS units, audio systems, hoverboards, electric bicycles, electric scooters, and radio-controlled vehicles. Walmart Protection Plans and Applecare+ can be returned or canceled within 30 days of purchase."

Haven't opened box yet so would like to know if someone can confirm that there is NO restocking fee. Still finding conflicting information regarding return policy on laptops...15 days vs 30 days.
The laptops are still available at the Chino, CA store which sort of surprises me.

Talked to customer service rep and couldn't get a straight answer. First told me 14 days, then after I told her I was told both 15 days and 30 days at the same store she attempted to contact and no one answered. Told her it states 30 days on website and she replied that this only applies to online purchases and that the return period is probably 15 days for in store purchase. This doesn't seem to be the case since at the top of the return policy page it states: "Please provide your in-store receipt or Walmart.com order number and we will refund the purchase price and applicable taxes and fees to the original form of payment or provide a replacement. " If online only then in-store receipt would not be mentioned and don't see anything with a 15 day return on that webpage. Oh well. Confusing.

Looks like it is available for shipping now at $1399. Maybe Lenovo is getting rid of stock to make room for Alder Lake laptops??
Did you have it shipped or order for store pickup?

Only shipping was available for me. Checked too if I could've gotten in store pick up but it wasn't letting me.
Doesn't seem that they are selling out as quickly as they were at one point.
I remember trying to get one online a few weeks ago and they kept going out of stock.
Did anybody order that and would like to share their experience?
I just received my Refurb today. Shipped from VIP outlet. It was sealed with Lenovo tape and looks brand new but does have a refurbished sticker on the bottom. Still has 8 months left on the warranty. I lucked out and got Samsung VRAM and it's purring away on Nanominer at 65.7 mh/s and 54 degrees.
