Best gaming monitor at even double this price point. If you're on the fence, do it. Here's a very detailed review or feel free to Google your own source. I'll save you some time, they are stellar.

Had a bad experience with 2 Dell gaming monitors. I'll never buy this brand again

And I've had 2 Dell monitors that were pixel perfect, zero issues. One (24") lasted over a decade of heavy use before I upgraded to a 27" Dell.

I had a bad dell. Line in the middle which requires power cycle to reset it. Happens frequently. Glad you got two good ones but they have their issues.

Typically Dell is good with their warranties I believe.

I have two of these and like them, but have had a few issues with them:

- In some games (e.g., Battlefield 1) playing over Display Port at various refresh rates, including 60Hz, I'd get 2 second blank screens frequently. It's impossible to play FPS games when the screen blacks out for 2 seconds. Strangely enough, it almost never happens in Call of Duty games. However, I have an old graphics card (RX 570 4GB) and it may not have DP1.4 as the monitor requires… so perhaps that's the real problem. (I think it was also happening over HDMI but not as often… can check my notes to be sure, if anyone would find it helpful.)

- I'm not sure why, but very rarely the primary display (where Windows shows it's login screen) would just stay black when power cycling the machine. I'd have to unplug+plug the power cable from the monitor to get an image again (pressing the power button wasn't enough). This has only happened a handful of times in the last 6 months. Again, perhaps it has something to do with my old graphics card… but more likely it's something in the monitor's firmware.

- One of the monitors has a slight green tint along the bottom 1 inch of screen, but it's subtle on light colored windows/backgrounds and invisible on dark colors. I use this as my secondary display for YouTube, etc. and don't notice it anymore.

- Text clarity is not as great as I'd like, but I got used to it and stopped being bothered by it after about a week. I think this is partially just the result of the monitor being so bright (I usually have them at 80% brightness), which makes the font smoothing more noticeable. Most people probably won't have an issue with this.

I have this monitor and it is great as long as you know how to calibrate it. Out of the box, the colors (at least on mine) looked slightly washed out. Make sure to select "Custom Color" in your presets to play around with the RGB settings to get the image to where you like it. Sharpness should be set to around 70% or text will seem slightly blurry.

In my years of ordering monitors, Dell and LG seem to have the best quality control. I have yet to receive one with dead/stuck pixels or significant IPS glow. This is a solid deal in my book and Dell has one of the best warranties for monitors.

HDMI port on my ultrawide died and I had a replacement literally the next day. The replacement couldn't handle the 120Hz over clock like my previous one but still overall happy with how it went.

I think the 32" S3222DGM @ $330 was a better deal. Would this 27" be better for gaming than the 32"?
