Are these good? I saw Walmart will have a similar model without the mapping for $99 next week.

Trust me when I say that you need the mapping if the area you're using in is a decent size. It makes these things so much more useful. The non-mapping leaves dirty spots here and there and would drive you crazy.

From the comments I'm guessing I should wait till Black Friday for a deal on one of these?

I need another robot vacuum, but I'll be stearing well clear of Eufy. I currently have the Eufy L70, and it has been one of the most disappointing purchases I have made. Nothing but problems (battery failed -- had to buy a new one from Eufy, mopping stopped working, the vacuum would periodically freak out and be convinced it was running into something), and last week it finally gave up completely and just backs around in circles jerkily.
So in short, you had a defective unit and would completely undermine the tons of good reviews out there? Got it.

Had a similar model for a while and didn't like how the suction held up. Got bad after about a year and doesn't pick up any more even with thorough cleaning and new filters. Didn't do a good job of getting all our downstairs rooms. Would be good for just one or two connected rooms.

Just picked up the iHome AutoVac Nova from walmart last week and it is WELL WORTH THE $100 UPGRADE. The mapping, programming, mopping, better suction and waste bin are easily worth it

So I'm trying to understand. Does this go in straight lines back and forth across the room to complete the vacuuming? Last year, I bought the 25c. I love the vacuuming but the fact that it moves randomly drives my husband crazy and I need him to stop complaining ( and I need one for downstairs anyway)
someone mentioned in the prior posting that they didn't think the mapping made a difference.

Bought this when it was previously posted last week.

Got it and it's been running daily for about 5 days now.

No complaints at all. Works well, transitions between carpet (ruggables) and hardwood with no issues. Goes over my about 3/4" thresholds also with no problems. Mapping works well, hasn't fallen down the steps, picks up a good amount of junk. Our floors are noticeably cleaner on a daily basis compared to vacuuming once a week/as needed. We have two dogs (not big shedders) and two kids.

App also works well.

It's only been a week, but so far so good. Very happy with the purchase.

Yes it has mapping and works well. It will do its best to stay on a straight track. If furniture is in the way, it still bumps around it to stay on its path. It is definitely not just randomly going in all directions.

Bought this for my mom from the original listing a few days ago. It was delivered today but a small part was broken. The release mechanism (blue button) for the debris tray was broken where the screw holds it in. I think it's because if the way it's packaged from the manufacturer because this part is on the very bottom of the box and the vacuum is packed vertically, so all the weight would be on this one little part if the box was dropped hard. I don't know if I should request an exchange from Walmart or if I should contact the manufacturer and ask for them to send me a new debris tray assembly.
I had one not this model come with that part broken a month ago. Contacted the manufacturer they sent me one as soon as possible.

Really tempted to get this. Just moved into a new place with all tile downstairs - the kids constantly are leaving crumbs on the floor hahaha. We are going to try to keep it relatively clear downstairs as far as furniture is concerned. Upstairs and on the staircase it's all carpet. Wondering if I should consider getting one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

How do these perform on carpet?

I ordered one Thursday afternoon and it was delivered on Friday at 5:48PM by Katrina, but not to my house. I spoke to one of their clueless CSRs at an overseas call center. There was no tracking and he had no record of who delivered it. It was probably delivered by a Door Dash or Postmates delivery person from one of the Walmarts near me. He did issue me a refund and I ordered another at the same price. I stopped at our nearest Walmart to find out if they knew anything, mainly though just to vent. They were just as clueless, and said that they kept no records of 3rd party deliveries, which I found hard to believe. They also told me that no address labels are put on the box, again hard to believe, so whoever received my 1st Eufy got a free one. You can thank Katrina.
The 2nd Eufy arrived early today by Fedex and required a signature. We charged it and ran it this afternoon. It's doing a good job mapping. Our house is a mix of hardwood floors and carpeting. No problems with it cleaning either.

Katrina snapped a pic of where she delivered it. It's on my Walmart account page. https://i.imgur.com/ORf1rhq.jpg If anyone who lives in the Maryville, TN area recognizes this house please post back.

That blue release button on the debris bin on mine was broken too. Called Eufy support, sending me the whole dust bin.

It's worth spending a bit more for a robot vacuum you'll actually use for years instead of ending up in a closet after a couple months. Just my 2 cents. You can find the roborock S4 for 300 bucks, or sometimes a roomba with dock for 500. Dock isn't 100% required but does make it feel way more "autonomous" like you just happen to have clean floors and don't even know why/spend any time thinking about it. Biggest reason to spend the extra $ on roomba is replacement parts. A lot of these smaller companies abandon prior models without a thought while 10 year old roombas are going strong today.

That said this is still a solid deal, especially for people in apartments or smaller areas that are on a budget. I wish more of these budget bots had the dock as that really elevates it to another level and they can't be that expensive to produce (although usually found for 200+ extra which makes no sense to me).

In for one. Will be going to my mom to replace her old irobot. Bought a 30C for myself 2 years ago and eufy customer service was excellent when I had issues. Great deal!

Just saw your post and the iHome looks intriguing. How well does the thing mop? Do you have to refill water after every use? Thanks for the suggestion.
