You do know it's not paint that makes the blades rainbow, right?
Teach kids early on how to use them. My kids were cooking dinners by the time they were 5-6yrs old.
By the time they were 12 they were asking for cook books and making pasta from scratch.
Farberware is such poor quality these days. I bought some knives and silverware from them recently that seemed like it was from the dollar store.

It is really a six piece set they include the blade covers as pieces. Whereas others do not count them. So a six piece set has one more knife but not the scissors.
Can anyone speak to quality? Fabreware tend to be caca in my experience
Wife got the multicolored ones from her sister last Christmas the white paint came off the blade within a few months. maybe not exact product but still rejects the quality issue.
It's interesting on the process of electrically sputtering titanium on these; it's like applying a draper effect appearance on the substrate which i used to think it was a gimmick but it's actual manufacturing process

Please stop making sharp objects so colorful, kids get so attracted to cool looking knives/scissors.

For anything in the kitchen I go to my local restaurant supply store.
You can find amazing knives that are awesome for daily use for much less than you would expect.
How does this compare with cuisinart ones. I have the cuisinart ones are the paint comes off the blade and handle. The handle is rather odd to be painted since the plastic is same color with speckles. Everytime I use one of the knives with butter it flakes/peals off into the butter.
So does the coating last on these.

My daughter has a larger set of these Faberware knifes and really likes them.
