Those cables certainly are pretty, but they're only 30 AWG :/. The OP's cables are 24 AWG.

If long lengths and/or PoE is involved, go for 23 or 24 AWG.

CAT7 isn't even recognized by TIA/EIA, it was ratified but never adopted because CAT6A was bumped up to 10Gb/s and still uses the regular RJ45.
CAT7 also calls for double shields, foil around the twisted pairs as well as an outer braided shield... the cables provided are lacking the outer shield. these don't even have the separator from the CAT6 standard, so they're some kind of half-breed that doesn't adhere fully to anything.

Amazon, once again, proves it doesn't have control over anything at all... so much garbage on there, only thing better than eBay at this point is you can't send their junk back.

These cables look like shit.
What, do you want sparkles on them? Perhaps glowing?

that's fine, i'm sure they work perfectly fine at those speeds with the shielding they have, and i'm glad they're holding up well mechanically...

that said, they aren't CAT7 and shouldn't be advertised as such, nor should anybody be saying they are CAT7. my annoyance is more with Amazon just letting vendors put whatever the F they want in their product titles/descriptions at all times... it's horrible. which then leads folks to believe they are whatever they say, because yes, not everybody needs to be tech savvy or cares to look up the standards.

all that said, they are a nice looking cable and at least they have foil shielding on the pairs to help with isolation at higher speeds... most flat cables don't even have proper plastic separation and start to cause issues as you near >1Gb.
Thanks for the logical comment.

They offered me $1.50 in digital credits for shipping. I ordered a second one and upon the third time they didn't offer the shipping credits. Just FYI.

Do you have a suggestion for better cables that offer higher bandwidth?

Seriously asking because while these cables are perfectly fine for my Apple TV 4K if i can increase speeds on my PS5 i will buy another cable and give this one away

Edit: I guess my PC tower has no limit on the ethernet port thats why i am able to get speeds above 1GB

But after reading i guess the PS5 maxes out at 1GB and these cables are giving me 950mb so i guess no point in upgrading

Bought 6 of these, thanks. I don't know how it always happens, but where I think my 3ft ones will work I end up needing 4ft. "6ft oughta do!" nah, that's a 7ft run. Or, the times when you don't have enough slack to do cable management.

Im not some tech savy person

But i get roughly 1500-1600 Mb down on these cables so Id say they are doing their job.

They look good, sit flat enabling easier cord organization, and are seemingly indestructible.
No need for CAT7 to be honest. I know CAT 5E is only rated up to 1Gig, but I have 10Gig NAS in my house and my house is wired with 5E. I was pleasantly surprised to get 950MB/sec! I'm not saying everyone will get this, but CAT6 would be perfectly fine for everyone and for "future proofing."
