For my money, I'd buy the XT288 kit with the two free tools for $399 starting tomorrow. Two 5ah batteries and includes the top of the line drill and impact.

If you're lucky, you might get the two free tools today with the kit at $379. Some stores have launched the bogos early.

The BOGO isn't live yet. Goes live tomorrow but should be this kit [homedepot.com]

Kit will be $399 when the bogo's (buy one get two in this case) officially go live but I've seen several reports of stores posting the BOGO earlier this weekend with the $379 price still active. I personally scored the BF price on a couple of BOGO M12 Milwaukee sets. YMMV of course. My store had the Milwaukee stuff up but not Dewalt or Makita.

Went live on 10/25. Looks like some deals are in store only. The top end Makita kit with buy one get two is one of those in store only.

Are in-store buys (XT288) hackable? like the battery pack hack?
