It's not $349 like last time, but I'll take it. I'm a DIY-er and I'm buying this to replace one that got stolen. Compared to others in this class, I like this model because it can take a dado blade. From experience, I can say that the nut and wrenches that mount on the side are easy to misplace.

It looks like this price is online only for now. Who knows, maybe it'll drop another $50 in a month too.

You sure about that? Typically it's the table saw with folding stand that goes at that price. I can't recall ever seeing the jobsite saw for under $299. It's almost always pick-up only as well.

FWIW, Ridgid finally sent the new R4550 10" contractor saw into the wild. I expect it will be replacing this older model R4514 and we'll likely see the older model in BF deals and possibly a clearance blowout after the holidays.

Ridgid also finally released the new stationary saw, R4560. Similar "roll cage" design to the Delta saws. Possibly might clearance out the older R4520 cabinet saw?

TY! This is very helpful. I'll keep a lookout. I believe the Ridgid Jobsite saw is well regarded. Their regular table saw...not so much.

Worth noting that it looks like Ridgid is also selling a new, lower end table table saw for $50 less than the price of the old jobsite saw. That said, the one review, so far, suggests it has big problems and is following in the footsteps of its predecessor.

You are correct in that the R4520 has been on clearance at several Home Depot stores recently. The lowest I've personally seen is $510 and it's only in some stores. For those interested, be advised that I've noticed for the R4520, Brickseek has not been showing accurate inventory or that it's on clearance and HD online inventory does not display accurate inventory either, so you'll need to go on a hunt and look for it in store. For example, in store I've seen 4 of these, but Brickseek and HD both show 0.

I'm seeing a lot of big boxes in the open at my store, so i think they are from the late shipment from all the stucked ships? Hopefully we can get a nice sale price soon.

Home Depot will also match Menards stores 11% rebate, so if you have Menards stores near you, might want to see if your local Home Depot is included in the list of stores that will match it. It is only store credit you get back, but better than nothing and same thing you get from a Menards rebate.

I stopped at Home Depot this morning and was surprised how much they have. The aisles were filled with all the holiday merchandise. I picked up a 2 pack of Ridgid 4ah batteries for $99 which is a great deal made even sweeter with the rebate. Now I want to go back and get this saw. I've wanted one for a couple years now. I think this is the year I get one. If I would have remembered about the rebate, I probably would have took one home today.
