Here are the "Terms and Conditions" that I had to constantly point to when dealing with a Best Buy that was a Samsung authorized repair center: https://www.samsung.com/us/suppor...sung-week/

My S10 still working well but with 70% battery capacity. Would like to use it for 2 more years. Don't have $$ and don't need the newest or fanciest. It would be great to have an original battery instead of OEMs
According to the Samsung e-mail, the repair ticket expires after 14 days and the UPS e-label expires in 3 days.

They scratched the frame.
I was issued another ticket to resolve the issue. They sent a email today demanding $155.55 for a front LCD replacement. $155.55 for the same brand new LCD and assembly they just repaired.
I called, told Samsung support the tech is lying about the LCD having damage and I have photo's as proof.
So now my repair is under investigation.
So everyone using this better document everything.
Has anyone watched the vids of ppl replacing just the glass on like S9s? The kits only cost ~$30, but I just wonder if it's basically a scam and you'll ruin your phone. I obviously don't have the $$$ equipment pros use, but I have small tools and a heat gun.
I wish samsung could just send me the whole glass/lcd for like $50 and I could replace it myself and send them my old one back.
So I ended up sending in the now further broken phone for this promotion last time. Samsung fixed everything, including the fingerprint sensor on the back that had stopped working. It's a value proposition, but I found it totally worth it to have them inspect and repair. It probably would have cost the same anyway if I were to DIY the fingerprint sensor and replace the back glass that inevitably crumbles any time you remove it.
