This should be the standard pricing. Charging normally almost what the phone is worth is ridiculous.

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer, an oem battery is the manufacturer's battery

My cracked screen s20+ got rejected for trade in on my z flip 3 (pretty sure it was my fault and them being picky) so it's just been sitting on my desk... Might as well repair it. Will increase it's resale value and/or trade in value for the next phone in the family.

need battery replacement programs similar to the one from apple.
My S10 still working well but with 70% battery capacity. Would like to use it for 2 more years. Don't have $$ and don't need the newest or fanciest. It would be great to have an original battery instead of OEMs
how do you check battery capacity?

I just started a mail-in repair for my Note10+.

According to the Samsung e-mail, the repair ticket expires after 14 days and the UPS e-label expires in 3 days.

Is it even worth it for Samsung s9 or should I use the money to get a new phone
My work phone is an S9 and honestly I'd not fix yours. My phone and all my coworkers phones are at a crawl anymore and I want to throw that phone daily and purposely break it to get a new one.

Ironically that's what the cheapos are giving us if we break the S9 lol. The ones who have it said it's a night and day difference to the S9 but you'll be in the same boat next year. I'd personally go with an S20 series minimum and get a few decent years out of it.

Do you guys think they'll replace the frame of my S21 Ultra? It's dented and scratched up along with the front screen.
Quote from Mintoo :
They'll replace the frame. No additional charge
It depends on the technician. I sent a note9 with a cracked front screen and they did not replace the battery or the frame. The frame actually came back with scratches near the screen they replaced.
They scratched the frame.

I was issued another ticket to resolve the issue. They sent a email today demanding $155.55 for a front LCD replacement. $155.55 for the same brand new LCD and assembly they just repaired.

I called, told Samsung support the tech is lying about the LCD having damage and I have photo's as proof.
So now my repair is under investigation.

So everyone using this better document everything.

I have a $20 credit for Samsung.com and I want to use it with this deal but I can't seem to find a way to redeem it. Got it when I fixed my girl's S21. Made fun of her for always breaking her screens then I broke my S20FE the next day 🥲

So my note 9 constantly Powers off every time the screen dims. The back of my phone also has a big crack in it. If I used this promotion will the guts inside my phone be swapped out because I fear there's Hardware fault in this phone's board somewhere or something causing malfunction. I've tried Factory resetting more than once.

Man, this is tempting. Cracked my S9 a few weeks ago. It's just hard to weigh if $100 is worth getting it fixed by someone vs putting it into a new phone.

Has anyone watched the vids of ppl replacing just the glass on like S9s? The kits only cost ~$30, but I just wonder if it's basically a scam and you'll ruin your phone. I obviously don't have the $$$ equipment pros use, but I have small tools and a heat gun.

I wish samsung could just send me the whole glass/lcd for like $50 and I could replace it myself and send them my old one back.
I actually bought one of those kits for my S9 and ended up doing just that. What was an attempted glass repair ended up killing the screen beneath the glass. Now I'm not going to blame the kit; I probably did it wrong or got overconfident from doing Samsung battery replacements before no problem. It looked like even if you did it 100% right, it'd take tons of time to remove all the glass from the front without disassembling the entire phone (whole selling point of the kit).

So I ended up sending in the now further broken phone for this promotion last time. Samsung fixed everything, including the fingerprint sensor on the back that had stopped working. It's a value proposition, but I found it totally worth it to have them inspect and repair. It probably would have cost the same anyway if I were to DIY the fingerprint sensor and replace the back glass that inevitably crumbles any time you remove it.
