I don't have an opinion about the tool quality comparison, but I do have an opinion about corded vs cordless. I have a Dewalt XR cordless RO sander and a really old B&D corded mouse sander. The cordless is super convenient to use. It is fairly compact with the 2AH battery. However, that battery doesn't last long. I typically use a bigger 4AH battery to go with it. That battery will last about an hour at the expense of increased weight. It is not an issue if you sand horizontal surface. It is an issue if you need to sand vertical surface for a long time. Your arm will get tired quickly. The XR sander really shines when paired with a 5 or 6 AH XR battery. But those batteries are so bulky and heavy, with one of those batteries installed, the sander won't sit flat on a surface on its own. You have to steady the sander while sanding on horizontal surface. When I have to do a LOT of sanding, I reach for my mouse sander first. Yes, the cord gets in the way sometimes, but I can use it for so much longer without arm fatigue. After a few rounds with the mouse sander, I then finish the job with the cordless RO sander.

I also have a few Ryobi cordless tools including a couple of 4AH batteries. They are comparable in size and weight to Dewalt's 5/6AH batteries. I suggest you apply the tradeoffs to your use cases and then decide.

Literally the two I don't have but I don't work on stuff enough to justify the buy. Very tempted though

It is the same price from DTO with shipping included. Cheaper if buy something else to share the shipping cost.

Doesn't look like they are separate items in the cart. Not sure if they come separately. I assume they do. I would also like the corner sander.

Just bought the corded DeWalt orbital sander, wondering if this would be better. I have a few Ryobi batteries already, but not sure if I really need the sander to be cordless. Anyone have an opinion on tool quality of this orbital vs the recent DeWalt one off Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZWJD...UTF8&psc=1

The quarter sheet one is trash. Never holds the sheet. Unless I got a defective one

I have the orbit sander and use a Milwaukee batt with an adapter. Very happy with it!
