Also, you can watch any movie you want for 5 bucks at AMC, if you venture over to the trading forum and buy yourself some of the black tickets people routinely have to trade on there.
We went last time it made a theater run 10(?) years ago. Still holds up.

I'm glad I don't watch many movies though. $15.50 (with BS $1 convenience fee) to see a damn movie. And forget about the price of concessions assuming you don't smuggle your own stuff in. But I agree, unless I really want to see something, that $1 is a huge turnoff to me, nickel and diming people to see an already overpriced experience.

Not to mention the time we got carded (in my 50's) and wouldn't let my 26 year old son in to see the movie because he forgot his license..
