edit: i ended up on a page of a previous sale - still live!
Unless you have an extremely low battery and/or in an emergency to charge an otherwise dying phone.. the difference between 12W charging with USB-A and 20W charging isnt that dramatic. Now the difference between 12/20W.. and the old 5W charger (Apple used to include with every iPhone until just a couple years ago) is incredibly dramatic.
Granted at this point Im only buying USB-C chargers from here on out. It just doesn't make sense to buy any new USB-A chargers.. now that USB-C is so established. That said Im also not throwing away the dozen or so 12W USB-A chargers I have around the house & car. They still charge my phone and other devices quickly.. and it means I can keep using cheap $2-$4 USB-A lightning cables like this deal. Nobody wants to pay $20 for a USB-C charging cable.
