Used to see ads for this all the time "free" + $19.99 shipping. But now for $.99 I'm willing to take a chance.

Instantly decode your check engine light and save $1000s at the repair shop.

FIXD works with all gas-powered cars and trucks built after 1996 and diesels built after 2008.

Some, yes.

"How can I clear my check engine light?

Click "Clear Engine Light" on the details page to clear the code. If the code is cleared but the issue with the vehicle is not resolved, the check engine light may reappear after a certain number of miles have been driven.

If the code is emissions related, FIXD cannot clear it due to Federal Regulations. You must get the issue fixed and then the code will be cleared after 30 miles of driving. If it is not emissions related, please reach out to us."

Sure, why not. Will buy it as a backup to the main one I have now and use with Torque.

Just note, when ordering - very "spammy".

Multiple offers (3) for subscriptions and warranties. Just scroll to the bottom of each page to reject and move on.

So what's the catch? Ad riddled app? Extremely limited access without premium subscription? Going out of business?

amazon reviews indicate app has tons of ads and is very unreliable. pretty savage reviews. they also ask for lot of private information to track you. wondering if you can use torque pro or other apps ?

Edit: From az review - "Tried using this with other apps available like Torque pro, etc, and it's not even detected."

not wasting my $1 on this one.

Looks like they try to upsell you on a bunch of stuff and possibly ads and upsells on the app. Bought with a virtual CC

Trying to pay with PayPal but before continuing its asking for a billing agreement. Can't say I've ever seen that. Not looking for a hidden subscription

there are reports of cheap OBD sensors ruining ECUs.

certain things are just not worth it. Just go to autozone and borrow a more reputable one.

Yeah, I got one of these things free from a Slickdeal at Best Buy on here a while back ago. It came free with a SiriusXM radio. They went out of business in less than 6 months later. Now it's useless. Here's the link to it: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/auto...Id=6332162

Just get a obd2 elm scanner and torque app and you will have everything you need. Best $15 total you'll spend, including the app.
