I have both the Bio Bidet 6800 and the Toto SW2044 (slightly different model). The Toto is much more powerful when you turn the 'Soft' option off and it puts out a lot more water/second. I'd say the Bio can only get up to a 4-5 where as the Toto can go all the way to 10 in terms of water pressure. However, I find this pressure to be too much and prefer to be in the ~7 range. The Toto's air filter works much better at eliminating smells, though the charcoal filter does need to be replaced every 12-18 months at ~$30/pop. I find the Toto more comfortable to sit on and it also sprays inside the bowl when you sit down to help prevent anything from sticking to the walls (Bio Bidet doesn't have this). The air dryers on both don't work well as it is much faster to use a little TP to dry off and be on your way.

The Bio Bidet doesn't get much use anymore as the wife and I strongly prefer the Toto, but it is more expensive. Guests who are new to bidets and use the Bio Bidet (now in the guest bath) generally enjoy it, as we did before moving on to the Toto.

We've had two of these for the past year and they're great. Super clean asses and rarely use toilet paper anymore.

I don't know anything about these in particular. But I just want to say that automated washlets are a lifestyle improvement that's beyond anything one can imagine. It almost feels like going from a 19th century barbarian to a future person.

I'd suggest anyone to get one, doesn't necessarily have to be these.

I only use 1 side too and have been too lazy to setup presets, the auto is supposed to spray and dry on a timer.

The "oscillate" feature is way worse than the other one I have which I think is a Swanson. It oscillates (moves) and then pulsates(strong/weak streams), AND it was cheaper too. But recently starting to trip the GFCI outlet, but it's about 2.5 years old
Oh Ok. When you said it was annoying that it was 2 sided I thought you were using buttons from both sides regularly. I got the wrong impression.

I'm perfectly OK with the oscillate feature. Have you tried the aerate feature? The button with the bubbles? LMAO

This is the regular 6800 not the 6800U, wish Costco can bring back the A8 for $249
Everything but the title indicates that it's the U: details say so, and it frequently mentions the nightlight, which is exclusive to the U.

Is this worth the price? $200 isn't cheap for the job it does.
You'll save that much in toilet paper the first year, it's better for the environment, and you'll get WAY cleaner than wiping.

I'm to the point were I hold it until I get home because I can't stand toilet paper anymore. laugh out loudlaugh out loud

I feel you guys are overselling the TP saving part. I love my bidet but at best it's cut my TP consumption to 1/3 of what it was before. I still use 4-5 squares to dry off even if I use the dryer for 20-30 seconds.

You guys have outlets next to your toilets? I've never seen one in any homes I've been to besides the outlet by the sinks. Is that the outlet everyone's plugging the bidet to?

Hey, while I greatly understand wanting to wait to get home, I had a gastroenterologist tell me that holding it in can help cause diverticulosis in your bowel. Just a heads up.

Do you also have to wipe your hands to clean them after washing them?
"Washing hands" means SCRUBBING. Drying has nothing to do with cleaning.

My hands get incredibly dirty at work, so I even use a BRUSH to "wash" my hands.

This company is very sneaky. They donot clearly mention the pre-requisites on the product. If you have a bathroom that shares bulbs and outlets on the same circuit this will make the lights flicker continuously when the water/seat heater gets activated. The company confirmed that the seat requires its own dedicated circuit on BBB complaints. If you buy this be ready to spend $700-$1K for putting the circuit for it to work.

First off, nice job captain obvious. I wasn't talking about drying - the first guy was suggesting that wiping after using the bidet was necessary to clean anything the bidet missed. I was simply making a snarky comment from personal experience that a bidet wash doesn't leave anything behind.

Second, if your comparing your ass to your incredibly dirty hands at work that require scrubbing with a brush to get clean, you should be looking at pressure washers rather than bidets.
