AFAIK the S50 lite which has the $50 coupon to bring the price to $69.99 is not compatible with the PS5 due to read speed (min 5500 Mb/s per PlayStation website, Amazon shows 3900 Mb/s read speed for the s50 lite), despite the product images showing it as compatible on Amazon. Deceptive marketing if you ask me

PS5 has like all Gen 4 NVME SSD whitelisted, it will work just fine, it says just message like

"If you experience problems while playing a game installed on M. 2 SSD storage, move the game to the internal console storage." , but it works fine.

Bought it and got it today. Took 6 mins to clone nvme to nvme Wink

Boots fine. Was getting 3400 read / 2900 write using gen 3 … good enough for my gaming rig

Installed in PS5. 600GB usable internal + 1TB m.2 NVMe is now a reasonable amount of storage to work with. PS5 games I've tried so far work great, but I can always move it back to internal. Even useful, but overkill, just to hold PS4 games.
