had seen a deal on this unit for $1599.00 from lowes thought it was a good deal for such a huge tv and having the 2020 version of the tv and how great its turned out , i decided to buy itthru best buy which matched the lowes price , i decided to look around a bit more after picking up the tv and found it at brandsmart for less.

returned mine and bought it at brandsmart.

the tv has everage ratings but the 82" and 86 inch versions have hdmi 2.1 4k @ 120hz panels
and rtings are supposed to be reviewing those seperately according to a lot of users the 82" and 86" are much better tv's.

these get to the stores in pallets containing mutiple units and its packed better.

when you ship a single tv the chances of some type of damage increases by a lot.

Wow, some people on Reddit really think these 86" LG units are crap. I hope that I am just not refined enough to notice whatever it is they hate about these.

Having a 2yo 75" equivalent LG unit. I kind of want this one now, just because I love my current one and bigger = better for purposes of true cinema experience at home.

For anyone on the fence - get that big boy, you won't regret. Where it lacks in fancy features such as perfect contrast and brightness etc, it more than makes up for it in size.

they read one review and they think they're experts.

check out all the user reviews on every site selling them and they have a very positive rating , the only bad ratings are based on broken units or doa units.

Coming from an old lady who carried her CRTs off stands, downstairs and out to the curb by herself in her 50s - my back hears you. Used garage dolly once they were in driveway to get them to curb (it weighs almost as much as they did I think). Loved the picture but knew I better them moved while physically capable of doing so. As it was moving them rivalled the Panama Lock System
