I had high hopes for Donut County after watching the trailer, so I tried it on my Xbox using Game Pass. Calling it a puzzle game is...generous. I'd call it more of a physics task game with some light puzzle mechanics sprinkled in. And it's short, even for an adventure game.

In the Xbox world, I'd probably only recommend it for quick achievement/gamer score farming, but I'm not sure if that's a thing for Nintendo.

Out of Space: my favorite couch co-op from the Switch. A true hidden gem. We already finished the whole game 3 times and we play the week challenge every week. If you are into couch co-op this is just the best and I have played a LOT of them with my wife.

NoReload Heroes: another great couch co-op that also works well as a 4 players party game. I have already finished the original and I'm buying this enhanced edition.

Donut County: cute, funny and innovative gameplay. I have not finished it yet.

Tools Up: a fun couch co-op with lots of content. Not the best in its genre but a pretty solid one.

Not exactly couch coop, but What Remains of Edith Finch is a just plain wonderful scary story game to play with a loved one.

Probably not appropriate for children depending a bit on how comfortable they are with death.
