The only way you could make it work is to get it for yourself and you print out parts for her to use in her crafts(once resin is cured its safe to touch ungloved).

For a 9 year old a 3d pen like the 3Doodler Start+ might be better. If you want to try out full 3d printing with her, check out your local libraries. Some have maker spaces with printers you can use and classes or clubs.
My first resin printer, only had one success. I figured i just sucked at it. Good to hear that maybe it's a POS
Already have an idea of what to double for issues and sorting them out shouldnt be difficult.
if you buy this you want to make sure you have a v2 unit with good screens. look up what this means so you can make sure you get a good working printer.
I really wouldn't mind the issues with Monoprice 3D printers if they gave you any kind of support or customer service along with them. I bought their MP10 printer and one of the many issues was that the extruder was turning the wrong way. Easy fix if you have access to the firmware, which is supposed to be open source and public because it's based on Marlin. But Monoprice flat out refused to give a copy of the firmware. So I had to take the stepper motor out and find out which wires to swap.

I only reach out to manufacturer if i need replacement parts myself, i build firmware for myself and others so thankfully i shouldnt run into to many issuss
If these printers are bad [ i dont think they are i read over 150 reddit posts mentioning this printer and all were able to resolve there issues and get good prints with v2 ] ill just return to amazon and buy 1 worth the price of the 3 i bought.

I also considered that too. I opened my MP10 up, but the controller board had no labels or markings, so that made it difficult to build a firmware for it since I didn't know what the hardware was based on. Very bad manufacturing practice.

Given the reviews, I'd definitely say spend the extra $50 or so and get one that isn't going to give you extra pain because SLA printing is MUCH more involved than FDM printing (hot filament). The quality of the prints is absolutely incredible though, which is the reason I wanted it. My Monoprice Delta Mini is a solid printer, but when printing models and figures it just couldn't make something that looked good or consistently make small details without a fight. The resin printer achieves this every time, but getting there is a chore.
First of all, you have to consider how something will build upside down on a build plate, so gravity is acting in the opposite direction. You need to adjust supports accordingly. You'll also have to clean each print of the residual resin (usually with very pure isopropyl alcohol). Finally, you'll need to cure them with UV light. This can be as simple as putting them in the sunlight for a while, but if you want an even curing - making them harder and more durable - you should use a UV light. I ended up getting one of the wash and cure combination machines because it takes a lot of the mess out of it and ensures a pretty even cure.
I put all of this to make sure people are aware that this isn't like your average printing process. You will need plenty of additional materials - including gloves to since these resins are a skin irritant. At the end of the day though, now that I have nearly everything setup and somewhat organized, I'm happy with the results.
