So shipping back used pods via mail for them to recycle is their green solution to the issue? The trucks that carry mail are still using gasoline, rubber tire, lub oil, etc

Been pretty happy with mine over the last few months. Obviously you get what you pay for and you're not getting fresh grounds, but it's fine for what it is. Main downside is having to buy pods in bulk and they're not widely available, but I've been satisfied with what I've tried so far.

The top button is indeed factory set, just like my LB910:

The control panel consists of two buttons.
The upper button is for espresso dose (factory-set amount: approximately 40 ml.)
The lower button is for the free dose as factory-set, i.e. the user can regulate it. The dose dispensed by pressing this button can also be programmed.

Got this machine and a box of pods last year for about $85. Love it.
I didn't realize the buttons were programmable. It's programmed to the pods is what I thought. Espresso for single shot pods and Lungo for double shot.

Got a lot of cheap pods last year around this time. 2021 has been meh on pod deals in comparison. But great machine and great coffee.

I need to find a cleaning kit for cheap. If any one has recommendations for something cheap please share.

Yup. Completely different configuration than Nespresso or Keurig.

I'm reading the comments and am seeing things like "almost as good as real espresso". It's this similar to the keurig machines that have espresso buttons, basically concentrated cups of coffee ?

I have an older model that's been great. Good coffee and you can occasionally get good deals on short dated pods. Think about buying this for home and taking old one into the office.

No, these make real espresso. I was in Rome airport and they have the Lavazza dispensers everywhere. It's legit. I have one of the older machines but it works great and the espresso is consistently good.

The difference between K cups and Blue capsules are, the K cups are drip coffee with medium coffee grounds and Blue capsule is espresso with fine grounds.

to add to this, K cups are for Keurig. Blue capsules for for Blue machines.

Plastic pods, bummer. At least Nespresso claims to recycle them with free return of spent pods. I have a Nespresso and love it. Also have a real espresso machine at work and can hardly tell the difference. Quick Google search shows these pods are roughly half as much, but to me it's worth the price for Nespresso from an environmental perspective. I'm no tree hugger, but this seems like a simple way to help.

Are there any real expresso machines worth getting around this price range? I've got a butt ton of ground coffee I'd like to make expresso out of.
