These are absolute garbage. It bends at 4' to 6' despite it being wider. It doesn't hold very well.

I stopped using them and got a Stanley wide thick blade one from lowes that is reinforced and doesn't bend when extended.

I saw this in the store this morning and compared it to the Dewalt 2 pack tape measures they also had in the same promotional section. Honestly felt like the dewalt was a better build quality. Dewalt also had fractions which Milwaukee did not. Can't find an active link for the dewalt 2 pack but this is where it will be once online.

I saw this in the store this morning and compared it to the Dewalt 2 pack tape measures they also had in the same promotional section. Honestly felt like the dewalt was a better build quality. Dewalt also had fractions which Milwaukee did not. Can't find an active link for the dewalt 2 pack but this is where it will be once online.

I know what you mean, there are a few Milwaukee tapes that do have fractions. I wait for those to go on sale.

I love the Fatmax tapes and use them when it really matters, but you are comparing a $25 tape measure to ones that are only $7.50 each.

I think Stanley suck, the lever that locks the blade is to hard to use!

At the time when I bought these it was about the same price as the Stanley.

Guess it shows how much they are worth when these deals come alive.

I got used to mine over time. I do a lot of long distant measuring and mainly by myself.

It really does help with not having to worry that the tape will bend and twist over a long span. Which was my biggest gripe about the Milwaukee.
