Saw this in my amex Offers: 6 months free of Pantera+ which gets you a free coffee or tea every 2 hours (refills are free if you're in store).

Standard trial is 1 month. Standard price is $9 a month.

The bummer is since it's a discount each month, you can't cancel it now and get all 6 months. You would have to cancel it during that 6th month to get full use of the deal.

In my experience their coffee is fine (I drink it black). Basically it's close to Starbucks quality though not as over roasted.

Not as good as a local Seattle shop that roasts their own, not as bad as McDonald's.

(Yes I realize technically Starbucks is a local Seattle shop that roasts their own coffee.)

Some places put vanilla in their iced coffee. I find that to be nasty.

Yikes I'm a Starbucks dark roast and this is like water. But I like dark roast and black. This is better than gas station coffee so really it's not a bad deal even at the full price if it's convenient for you.

I originally signed up for the 1 month trial through the app. Every time it gets close to ending I go into the app to cancel and there will be an offer for another 1-3 months free. It has been over a year now and I have still never paid for the subscription. Agree with others, the coffee is meh, but the price is right.

Not the worst coffee I've ever had but nothing special, although it feels like some branches sometimes make a decent brew, so it can vary. It's worth the cost, though, and mostly I go there for a change of pace. I'm finding it harder to go to Starbucks lately even though their coffee is much better, because every one I go to blasts some cookie cutter autotuned crap you have to be under 25 to like, and I'm way past that age. The atmosphere at Panera is more mellow and the music more low key, although it's always the same inoffensive playlist so that can grate too. Obviously both issues are addressed at better indie coffee shops, but there aren't that many around here.

Anyway, it's free so you can't really complain.

Btw does this work if you've had Panera's own 3 month free coffee subscriptions recently?

same, i've also been doing this for a year or so, started with a 3mo t-mobile tuesdays offer, but this time when i canceled and tried to re-up, whether with this amex link or the standing offer at http://www.panerabread.com/MyPaneraCoffee, it looked fine in the "checkout," but when i went back to manage the subscription, it still said the upcoming months would be charged, so i re-canceled. tried again this morning, and it gave me an error on the checkout page: "Oops!
This offer is not available for recently cancelled subscribers. But don't worry, you can still sign up by removing the promo code and trying again."

so, looks like maybe the jig is up! Frown (or maybe i just have to wait longer until my remaining subscription is actually over?)
