Yeah, it's been this price for a week. Still not worth it considering the 10% smaller battery compared to the SP6 or SP7+. Battery life on the SP7 really is a disappointment. The deal to get will be the SP7+ with cover and pen that Costco will have for $799 on November 25th. That gets you an 11th Gen processor that is the same as the SP8, along with the bigger battery and replaceable SSD.

I saw that deal too. Does it come with LTE connection on that 7+?

I'm pretty sure it's Wi-Fi only, the LTE ones are way more expensive. Since there's no link yet on Costco's web site for that SKU, we won't know until the deal hits.

EDIT: One other thing, the SP7+ will come with Windows 10 PRO.

This is a full computer running a computer operating system, The ipad is a tablet running a phone operating system. You have to make the decision based on your usage.

So this is just like a laptop with touch screen then? I've never owned a surface pro.

Yes, full Windows computer. With this model you have to buy the keyboard separately. If you want the pen, that will cost extra too. If you can wait about three weeks, the deal to get will be the Surface Pro 7+ with keyboard and pen for $799 from Costco. It's a better machine with a newer processor, and other features. It goes live on November 25th, and the SKU is 1598311.
