Saw this was among the popular searches on Brickseek. seems like it went on clearance (many Wagner paint sprayers) a couple weeks ago and they just ran out. Brickseek was showing inventory of 3 in some stores but Home Depot showed no inventory in any of their stores. I decided to give it a try. Went to the paint aisle where the paint sprayers are and there were none. However, by the paint service desk, there is a cart where they normally have half empty paint buckets and there it was... Went to self scan and it gave me an error. The associate scanned it and BOOM $0.01. Cheers to me. I don't have a receipt as she didn't even make me pay for it.

Went to Home Depot and they wouldn't sell it. Said there's a recall for it. Couldn't even get it at a higher price

I showed up at the register with 11 and they just let me take one of each. They didn't mention anything about recalls but that those items are typically returned to the manufacturer and HD gets their money back. I might try self check out with 2/3 at a time in another store.

I haven't gotten an penny item in years. Back when I used to actually hunt them they would scan on self-checkout. If the cashier saw the price they nearly always took it away. They only let me keep one bathroom faucet for a penny out of the ones that they noticed that I rang up
