Can I do video call from this thing? TIA
you can on both, but the regular nest hub doesn't have a camera to show your video. You need the max to send your video. The max supports google Duo and Meet

I don't know about Wyze, but it does work with Arlo and Blink cameras.

Great Find.

Fortunately I did not buy the gen1 deal the other day, but also due to it was OoS pretty quickly.
Hopped onto this one, and also get a Max as well since it's discounted too.

I guess Google is going to launch a new next gen, since they are many discounted items recently.
I agree, I am hoping for a more powerful Google TV dongle

I use a Nest Max for Wyze cameras' viewing. You cannot use it to speak through your Wyze cams if they have that feature.

Ok what all do people use these for practically? I am thinking about putting it in the kitchen, maybe somehow mount on the fridge to use to display a calendar?

Pair it with Nest audio speakers, so you can view, skip, pause or stop tracks.

I have the 1 gen hub displays. I use them for toggling lights without voice, changing the thermostat and calendar reminders. The display comes in handy in the living room when I have the TV with the surround sound on. It's much more reliable to touch the screen instead of doing the "hey google" which isn't reliable when you have other noises going on like that TV, or the Window A/Cs in the summer humming. Occasionally I use it to stream music to my Sony MX3 NC headphones in a pinch. But I am not too impressed with the sound quality. Noise cancellation is out of this world but I prefer a amp + my Seinheiser/MassDrop 6XX headphones

I have 4 x Wyze v3 Cams on all four corners of my property but the streaming is highly unreliable. Perhaps that has been improved on the 2nd gen, but I don't know for sure. Its not very reliable streaming eufy 2k doorbell video either. I am hoping a Google doorbell comes down in price during BF because those work instantly with these displays. I know that because a friend has one and I have seen it in action. The displays are probably the nicest picture frame you can get at these sizes since it pulls your photos from the cloud. No need for sdcards. But the resolution isn't FHD. I don't use them for streaming content since I think they are too small for that purpose

If you buy from Target, don't forget the red card 5% off, which beats most of the other prices.

You can also get 10% off with the military discount (for those that apply). Combined, those beat the Costco Nest Hub deal(plus you don't have to buy two).

How did you get the 10% to stack? I tried to do drive up but the 10% wasn't applied

Nevermind, I contacted customer service via chat and they applied it manually.

I bought this for my wife at full price since she likes watching Netflix shows while cooking. She loves it. Great speaker as well when she plays tunes.

I guess $179 is the best we'll see for the Max.
Right? When are we going to see a real 40-50% off deal on these?
