I bought this about a month ago. It's a great LED TV. OLED is still the best, but for a living room TV, where it's bright, you can't go wrong with this. I was able to get Costco to refund me the price difference from what I originally paid for. They were very nice about it too.

65" version is 1050 at ShopMyExchange, if you are eligible.

Do you have both TV's? Curious what do you like more about the Sony X90J compared to Samsung qn90a. I thought the qn90a was the superior model based on rtings and general reviews.

Last year's X90H is really disappointing for me in bright rooms (and my room isn't even that bright), so hopefully this is improved for this model.

This year's gets a tad brighter for SDR content and quite a bit brighter for HDR content.

This TV should work-out fine in a living room that "isn't the brightest". It does OK in normally lit rooms but may struggle in very very bright rooms.

Having watched both XC90 and the A80CJ in person, I'm glad I picked 77inch OLED.

Its just a whole new level, the black is pure, I wathced "LIFE" a 2017 movie, the space station just amazing to watch, it is probably one of the best movies I ever watched.

Save some money, go for the OLED.
