Edit: Ultimately it's not a great deal because you can already redeem the points with 25%/50% bonus in other categories. It's better to redeem the points in those other categories, and then find separate deals for Apple products.
Usually people hoard UR for it's flexibility to exchange to Hyatt points and UA. Singapore Air miles to get about 2-4c maximize benefits.
Granted, these days travel with luxury might be limited. 1.25c to exchange Apple products not bad either.
My point is people used to treat UR worthy around 1.8c, so any redemption below that need some serious consideration.
