I believe that you can use Microsoft 365, but mainly I'm here to say that once I went to using Google docs and Google sheets I've had no more use for Microsoft at all.

I've never owned a chromebook but I'm thinking of making the jump now.
What I need to know is whether I'd be able to use Microsoft office OFFLINE on these?
Since I've read that chromebooks rely majorly on internet connection.

My main usage is basically Microsoft office, Netflix, YouTube, web browsing.

Totally agree with that. The Chrome OS flies with these specs. A Windows laptop needs more resources because the way the operating system is built, but for a chromebook this is more than enough.
I forgot to mention, it also has a touchscreen and backlit keyboard. Too bad I purchased the 2020 version already...
