One of the better reviewed Chromebooks out there (and able to run Steam natively for games). Refurb direct from Acer/eBay made front page in May @ $379 (
link)
Best Buy has it new/clearance for $550, but I think the better deals to be had are the open box (YMMV on stock in your area): Excellent @ $358, Satisfactory @ $357, and Fair @ $355

edit: The deal from May also seems to be available from eBay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/255091178167 but Acer Direct has a 2-yr eBay Refurb Warranty, FWIW. May work with Discover/Paypal discounts too. Final prices are pretty similar depending on what discounts you can stack.

I got the one with an i3 (and 64gb eMMC, iirc) a little over a year ago and, even though it's the lower-tier model, it's probably still my favorite laptop ever.
(I do kick myself from time to time, for not splurging and going with the better i5 model)
I've always been a bit of a Chromebook fanboy/enthusiast, but the Spin 713 really changed my mind about what Chromebooks could do/be.
Edit: One possible downside to this purchase: It's made me a bit of a snob about having/needing Intel (esp. i-series) processors in Chromebooks… my other three Chromies are now basically just dust collectors. Even my relatively-new Lenovo 10e ChromeOS tablet. 😢

(I own the 2020 version of this laptop and it's amazing other than the all-time bad speakers everyone else rightfully complains about).
Everything seems functional, as far as I can tell. This machine has a very nice touchscreen display and is very fast. Linux apps are much smoother on this device compared to my old Chromebook.
I was even able to install the Steam for ChromeOS Alpha on it (not sure what the purpose of the included Iris Xe would be without this Alpha).
Slick deal!
It's a nice chromebook but I'll probably end up returning it as I'm really looking for something lighter. Hopefully Samsung has a fire sale on their Galaxy Chromebook or Google releases an updated Pixelbook at a lower price.

I never thought to test the battery life of any previous Chromebooks. I bought this 2020 version of the 713 refurb in January 2021 and have used it heavily since. It's at 81% -- I find it to be exceedingly useful and have never been bothered by the battery life.
Curious to see how mine will look -- won't be able to pick it up until next weekend.
