Same price at best buy. Lower at Samsung EPP/student. Plus if you buy at Samsung you can do a trade in credit (though not as good as the pre order trade in deal)

edit: you can also place an order on Samsung.com and pick up same day at Best Buy! Plus you can use a certain Cashback website and get 10% back at Samsung.com + Chase PayPal 5%, which beats the 10% Amazon card.

For some reason after I add it to my cart on Samsung.com the price drops down to $142 (using EDU account).

As someone who upgraded from the Active2 for the Watch4, I agree. The battery life is terrible. My GF uses my 2 year old Active2 and has 50% better battery life than my 2 month old Watch4.

Its 142.49 for the 40mm and 170.99 for the 44mm.

Tried desktop and different browsers and the discount didn't show.

Finally used the Samsung browser on my Galaxy S21 and the discount showed up. What's weird is a strange message popped up before checkout saying that "You received a special discount" or something like that. Don't remember.

You cannot swap in different type of straps (not even a different color) or the discount falls off.

I would like to see a deal like the one last year where I got the watch 3 for $70 by trading in my original Galaxy watch. I still regret it to this day because the only feature that I wanted is not supported unless I get a Samsung phone. I'm hoping that the watch 4 at least will have more apps because the tyzen store is lacking heavily.

No. In on chrome mobile app on my S21U. I signed into 3 different accounts and price showed up $142. I Just signed into regular account and i entered education store for $142 price. Without education store it shows as $149. Discount shows up at checkout. ONLY 40mm black with black strap works from what ive seen
