Tend to see digital sales on new movies shortly before they hit a streaming service. I don't see this on the November streaming release schedules for D+, Hulu, or HBO Max. I say HBO Max as per Decider referencing it as a Disney property, "Since Free Guy is a 20th Century Studios movie, formerly 20th Century Fox, due to a pre-existing deal, after Free Guy's VOD window, it will head to HBO and HBO Max. After some unspecified time there, it may head to Disney+. But not any time soon."

Thumb down all you want but I'd have to agree. The idea of NPC as the main character sounded interesting and the trailer looked like it was going to be a fun movie. A couple of teenage girls in front of me giggled a few time otherwise it was dead quiet at the theater. I nearly dozed off towards the end. It may be worth renting for a few bucks but not something I'd own.

it certainly doesn't deserve two really's.

the "evil corporate" bad guy was just annoying, the double relationshipy crap was blah and overall just not great. it's certainly worth a watch once, but that's it... and never talk about it again, because it's forgettable.


it's a shame, the previews made it look like it was going to be a present day Truman Show, which sounded amazing... but it had zero of the awesome that made Truman Show great.

fyi, if you have windscribe or another vpn and disney plus, you can pretend as if you are in England and it is available to stream on disney plus (only from England).

The 4K/UHD streaming looked and sounded worse than when I watched it on bluray even though I have gigabyte speed fiber optic.
