Does anyone have some information for the series of the DeWalt tools? They have max, XR, voltflex, XR max? What are these? Which one is for professionals?

The 6 pcs Flexvolt advantage with a 60v circular saw for $599 is a better deal.

These contain older tools such as 6-1/2" circular and angle grinder and goes on special buys of the day extremely frequently and if anyone was interested they would of bought long ago; tough system isn't useful if you are going to carry all the tools in it cause you're going to have a tough time packing it in one box and it closing

There was flexvolt advantage last holiday season which gave all brush less tools for same price

I'm going to get flamed for this but imo a flashlight isn't a tool in this regard to say it's 7 tool

Dcd791 is great drill; dcf885 is old as shit and doesn't have the appeal of the 887 with having variable selector; orbital sander is brushless and rated highly but personally it's not great with anything bigger than 3ah cause it's not balanced; circular saw is old and aluminum shoe dents easy and black blade guard is plastic and feels like if you have a teeth break away then plastic isn't going to make a difference ( it's more for preventing fingers); the angle grinder is going to drink your batteries and will do the trick but the xr model is not even that much more; flashlight is pistol grip which is use case dependent

Look else where; dewalt makes this kit to bait those who don't have the luxury to look for kits that can offer more than 3 Tiny batteries and one slow charger

The tools are way way better and far far more expensive that this 7 tool deal. No comparison at all.

Very much agree. Also this special buy price is so frequent that I assume it's the standard price. I picked up the last variant of this kit with a reciprocating saw instead of the sheet sander last year, original price was $499.99 but on clearance. Not a terrible kit at all but either holding out for a possible Flex volt kit or piecing things together with the hackable HD kits is a much better option.

This fluctuates from $479 and $499. I'd wait until it drops again. Its been doing that for at least a day or 2 a week for the last month and has been this price for about 2 months now. Although i haven't seen it drop to $479 since the black Friday deals came out.

Not a bad set if you can get over the brushes lol.

How does the $529 deal at Lowes compare to the $449 one?

This has been $499 for quite some time in my area. Not sure why it's a slick deal all of the sudden
