Care to explain? I personally love all my 20v dewalt tools. The only other brands in comparison are Milwaukee and Bosch, which are more expensive but are similar quality

Seems like a good deal, but just wanted to note that these are the older "brushed" versions, not the newer "brushless". The brushless set has one less tool and fewer batteries for the same price,

For the vast majority of people (residential users) it frankly doesn't matter one bit. In fact, I started off with Ryobi brushed 15 years ago. I've used and abused the crap out of them and they are all still going strong to this day. I probably have 25 of their tools. I keep telling myself when one breaks I'll replace with Milwaukee or DeWalt but they just keep going strong.

Technically it was free because HD issued refunds for these orders in an attempt to cancel them, but their warehouse ended up shipping them anyway.

Brushless motors are more energy efficient and don't fail as fast as brushed versions - but as others pointed out: for residential use it's often negligible since the tools don't get used most of the year anyway.
