I got this over the summer and have taken it out 4 times on lakes. It has already developed a slow leak in the right chamber (which appeared last time). I can get maybe 30 minutes before I have to inflate it again. The inflation valve is in the front, so it's hard to inflate while on the water (the kid would have to do it, and it's a bit tricky to not open the valve all the way and totally deflate that side).
I think I found and leak and can patch it, need to try that.
Beyond that, it works in general. The problem is that because of the shape of an inflatable (as comparted to a hard shelled one), they are hard to keep going straight sometimes, especially when the wind is blowing. It gets blown around easily and you can get turned around unintentionally, which can be frustrating. It makes me want a real one now (which may happen at some point) and I kind of wish I got a real one right off the bat, instead of this.
