Direct Tools Outlet has a 25% off Ryobi One + products weekend going on.
Just a FYI this isn't the similar named eBay site that sells junk stuff.

It would be a 20% decrease.

The % gained or lost is based on the original value, not the amount increased or decreased. In other words, ...
A $2 gain or loss is different for $8 vs. $10 (the original value)
2 / 8 = 25%
2 / 10 = 20%

The reverse math (moving the gain or loss value to the result side):
25% of $8 = $2
25% of $10 = $2.50
20% of $8 = $1.60
20% of $10 = $2
I thoroughly enjoyed the above math class. Not being sarcastic, genuinely good reading Wink
Show me your 15 year old DeWalt tool with a new lithium battery... I won't wait up. I've used every brand tool on the job site you can imagine. They all have pros/cons. Ryobi hands down offers the best value of any tool brand on the market. Good luck when DeWalt inevitably jumps ship from the 20v max lineup.

Honestly I found more items that DID include the sprayer than items that didn't----including many sub $20 items.

Personally I think the sprayer is virtually worthless but good deal for anyone that wanted one.
which sub $20 item? I didn't see any.

I haven't started my tool collection yet, so not tied to a brand. Just home projects. Right now just one ryobi 1/2 drill/driver. Was looking at the kit with a compact 1/2 inch drill driver and the impact drill. It's $90 reconditioned and $130 new at Home Depot… decisions…

Ryobi = kid's toys
DEWALT = real tools

If you want to play with toys buy this, if you have real jobs to do then look elsewhere
Apparently I used kid's toys to replace an entire mobile home roof, install 2 minitsplits on my roof, install an entire cabinet set at my shop, build custom cabinets for the shop, install vents and whirlybirds on the house, built shelving, shoe boxes, garden boxes, raised beds, build a trellis, install and re-run all the electrical in the house, leaf blowers, weed whackers, sawzaws, 2 years now nothing has broken.

I'm about to give my dewalts away because i only have a few and don't want to stay on their batteries/charger for just a few tools.

90+10 shipping so only $30 difference. To me it's worth to get new (if you need now) or wait for possible holiday deals.

Not sure if this is a mistake, but I put 4 items in and got 4 sprayers. I have 2 other sprayers from different deals. At this point, everyone who comes over for Thanksgiving leaves with a sprayer. No exceptions, if you want turkey you're getting a sprayer, lol.
lol. does the tool come with a battery? laugh out loud

I found an easy way to see if you get a free sprayer: when you add an item to cart, if cart quantities increase by 2, you get a free sprayer; if increase by 1, no free sprayer.

That way, I bought 7 items, out of which 6 with free sprayer. I picked the HP battery with charger instead of free sprayer figuring there are already 6 sprayers...

Why is this FP? It's not a bad deal, but Direct tools has 25-30% off deals all the time on even bigger selections. Last month I got 25% off +free shipping. You shouldn't be buying something from DT unless it is at least 25% off.

To some, it's a fantastic deal.
Buy $10-15 tool and get $50 sprayer PSP02BTL ($99 at Home Depot) free which makes this deal very attractive.

Note: Some items are more than 30% off retail

I didn't say it's a bad deal, I'm just trying to put things into perspective. There are better deals often at DT. For example, there was 25% off + FS last month. The FS makes a big difference when you're only ordering one or two items.

I'm just surprised that wasn't FP but this is, seeing as 25% off happens all the time and that "free sprayer" deal has been going on for over 6 months.

Lol sprayers will be worth less than $20 on secondary markets once/if these ship. Personally they have very little practical purpose as it's been found covid doesn't transfer through surfaces nearly as easily as originally thought. There is a reason why they have to give these away

There's a lot of uses for this if you are creative.
To get the new sprayer for free for buying a $10-15 tool is a no brainer. Buy one and think later. There will be a time when you will say, I could use that sprayer for this.

People may not pay $25 plus for this sprayer but they sure would not mind it if it's free (no shipping and tax) along with the tool you are buying for $10-15.
Don't assume your opinion and ideas apply to all others.
