I know this is a hot item and the frustration runs high when everyone can't purchase one.

That frustration doesn't justify calling other members names or worse.

These Walmart drops are a joke now. Combine that with the fact they take 2-3 months to ship the console if you are lucky enough to get one.

The bigger issue for me is that they are getting you to sign up for a new line of credit. This might be more psychological than anything, but I don't sign up for new lines of credit unless I'm getting a big reward. Like hundreds or even thousands for signing up for a new credit card. They are offering you next to nothing here. It's like full price console and $20 off game pass ultimate subscription, that's it. Even low end credit cards give you better sign-up bonuses than that.

There's probably a nearly a dozen cards right now that would give me a big enough bonus to flat out buy an Xbox Series X at scalper prices.

If they wanted to charge me $840 up front, no line of credit, for the 2 years of game pass ultimate along with the console, I'm on board.

Never got any email from them. I ended up getting from wmt from their Sept drop. Got it end of Oct tho. So I need to wait for 2 months. But Fwiw they deliver

There is no way in hell I would ever buy from a reseller. Resellers and scalpers are scum of the earth and karma will be back to bite them right in the arse. I would rather have nothing at all then deal with them. So I will quietly sit back and wait until I have an oportunity to buy one at MSRP and continue living my life. I have a Rog Strix 3090 I bought at MSRP, so I am not hurting in any way as far as gaming goes.

I am probably one of the largest resellers on here. I snag 6k worth of gpu's a week on drops. (I do day trading) so I have split screen, and I have twitters/slickdeals/discord alerting me for drops, BOOM instant snag. ship to house, resell same day. multi job. With this economy I buy everything I can, even if I dont sell it, I simply return or dont pick up orders.

Winter holidays are my favorite, extended 3 month return policies extra generous.

I mean, is this what you think is happening with cars and video cards too? It seems fairly obvious that there is a global supply issue for microchips that is a severe bottleneck. It's not only about how the pandemic is affecting us here at home, but in the other places where the parts are being manufactured. And given that freaking CARS are waiting on the chips, I can't see how Microsoft and Sony can ramp up production. If there's a competition for the chips, the manufacturers whose products have bigger profit margins will pay more.

Oh man... Here's my story. I wasted a full week, 2-3hrs of sleep Max per night trying to get an Xbox series x on the Microsoft store and it was always the same story with the website crashing or unable to accept my payment. I can already see this being the same. I'm going to take a stab at it here but if the guy that took the picture of the Walmart warehouse with stockpile of PS5s is true, then I'm guessing these will all be in store only purchases as they will try to get you in the door this coming black Friday and holiday season.
