Unless you need something for light workloads, it's probably best to find something with better performance.
I'm looking at AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 laptops only now. They offer much better thermals and multithreaded performance. If only this one came as a Ryzen 5!

While I'm excited about Intel 12th gen CPUs, the desktop ones need a ton of cooling. It will be interesting to see how their mobile versions perform.
But, for me, I don't need extreme portability. I'm going to stick with fatter laptops. 😁
