This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I need some help figuring out if my device qualifies. It's a Samsung Tab A8 model SM-T350 (it's several years old). The option listed is a Samsung Tab 8.0 (New). What exactly does "new" mean? New to the list or a brand new device?? This is so confusing and can't connect to chat support.

I can only see this mess building up and another fun chasing around with Samsung Chat and calls just like the last deal on S7. I am sitting out of this although the deal is way better than the last one, but the time spent wasn't worth it at all. Samsung is a liar company.

I just tried to put in the order and everything went successfully until it goes to my Cart and it shows a statement like this.
We removed your previously selected offer because you chose a better deal.
Your coupon is available for another purchase.

Not sure what that mean, but I don't trust Samsung anymore. Hopefully you guys that order actually get your product in your hand, and Samsung doesn't mess up with you on the trade in and later u may lost the $350 TIV if they do not accept the device.

tempting, but pass. last time they held my money after they printed shipping labels but never shipped anything. took so much complaining just to get a refund.

support kept saying it shipped can't refund or it's just a hold, it'll drop off.
