This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I want the A7, but have absolutely no interest in Bluetooth headphones. I also have an ancient iPad2 that still gets some utility as a photo gallery, which is what I'd be trading in... I'm kind of not sure if its worth it for me, considering I have no desire for the Samsung Ear Buds. Ugh...


Do these kinds of tablet trade-ins (that would apply to my ipad2) happen often during the shopping season? Cause getting some value out of this almost brick iPad2 would be nice.

I can corroborate this as well. I tried to trade in a Pixel C on one of their deals earlier this year. They rejected it, I was charged the difference, and I had a week to request it returned before they got rid of it for me.
