This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Just received the second email that the order was processed and now is shipping. Definitely a legit Black Friday deal. I have purchased many products from Samsung and have their credit account also. Their trade process is straight forward. No scams. Calm down guys.

They can still decide to lower the trade in value for your 3a XL. I'm hoping for you they don't disable the device when the VC charge denies.

Just some food for thought... As others have mentioned, I also have been burned by samsung as well for their trade-ins.. got lucky with a customer service rep that honored my trade in.

If you're gonna do a trade-in, I'd record and document every step, from packaging, IMEI numbers, device turning on successfully and everything, so they can't deem your trade in invalid.

Samsung has 💩 my family over so many times on these deals trade in phone and they send it back saying it wasn't factory reset like dude it's been wiped cleaner than if the FBI did it 🤣🤌

respectfuly, they've scammed a lot of people out of trade-ins over the past few years. It happens every single time a new phone drops and they have trade-in offers.

They will deactivate your tablet remotely if you don't pay up.

I believe you. The best thing to do is always take photos/video of the device and the IMEI.
