This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

They will send you an email after your device ships. In that email it will give you instructions for the trade-in. If in doubt you can always call them. Like others have said, take pictures and videos of the condition of your old device before sending it in just to be safe. If your trade-in is legit, don't worry about it. Others kept saying Samsung scammed people. If you were Samsung trying to do a successful Black Friday sale, would you not take the same precaution and make sure you're not being scammed with trade-ins? Remember, they are taking the risk and hassle to recycling your old device. US customers are lucky that Samsung accepts trade-ins. Overseas they don't and it costs a fortune to buy. Just my 2 cents.

I am not sure how this can be correct. The order was placed with Samsung, not bestbuy. Bestbuy is just fulfilling the order. The order info won't be in bestbuy system and hence will not carry bestbuy's holiday return policy. It should be Samsung's 15 day return.
If bestbuy associates said otherwise they are mistaken.

So conflicted. Just got order ready for Best buy pick up for S7 FE 64gb and buds. I have email transcript from chat with Samsung support that says my Nexus 7 2012 is eligible for this trade in, but I'm still weary after reading all the comments about trade in issues. Not sure I want that headache.

Still see the Tab S7 FE 128GB Available for $120. To me none of the Samsung tabs are even worth using personally but it would make a good gift. Still contemplating if I am up for the challenge of trading in a first gen ipad. LOL

You can rest assured that the BB rep was incorrect. You placed the order with Samsung, not BB. BB system won't even see the order info. It will carry Samsung's 15 day return policy.
