This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

But I would rather have birds in hand, and then deal with Sammy to confirm the $350 TIV with Sammy first. . .rather than going straight to Amex.

Just make sure if you have the $350 tablet TIV on your purchase receipt, that you toe the line to the terms of it. Makes things much easier in the end. For all you know, AMex might require the return of items. . .

Tab is ready for pickup at BB. I am not as worried about them changing 350 trade in to 35 as my receipt clearly says 350, but more worried about them rejecting the trade in for bogus reasons past the return window. I intend to take photos of the tablet I am sending back clearly showing it works and is in great condition, and if Samsung pulls a fast one on me, I have Amex to rely on. I will only dispute a charge if I am defrauded out of the $350. Hope it never comes to that.

I'll probably be one of the first ones with trade in value confirmed or denied since i sent the tablet today... It ships to Tn from Wa..by truck though. Will report back if i have any issues with my Nexus 10, no cracks, powers on easily, no root no unlocked bootloader and obviously not blacklisted(sent original charger and even box with SN). Factory reset, camera, speakers everything works.
My tablet is a prime example of a good working old tablet. It will be interesting.
I was about to break with a hammer and recycle it last week since it is just taking space in my drawer and i was declutering.

I want to think that i have a good relationship with Samsung (never returned anything) and my trade in devices are mint

There is no reason to do a chargeback if you follow the terms on your receipt, to the T. You can also chat/call in to ask for another 2 weeks return extension, so that your trade in has time to clear. If your trade in fails, you have 7 days to ask for the trade back. And in all that time, you can return the items bought . . .

Last time I also did a Samsung trade in for the headphones, I just give them the free apple headphones from the iPhone box and they need a apple wired headphones. It worked and they take it for 20 (trade in) dollars.
It will be interesting to see if samsung actually made a mistake or just doing a clearance.

Someone said that if he doesn't get trade in value, he will charge back or something. I think i read that Samsung could brick devices if not fully paid or etc. I would think that you would have tp be logged to Samsung account for them to brick devices in wifi tablet.
I think we are speculating too much m first let's see what they do.
Again... I paid 270 for a tab s6 back in the day with nexus 7 trade in. This deal is not that far off
